The Icarus Project NYC, founded in 2014, is a local support network and media project by and for people who experience the world in ways that are often diagnosed as mental illness based upon the founding principals of the pre-2013 Icarus project as well as intersectional feminism, anarchism, anti-capitalism, disability and healing justice and has no affiliation with the Icarus project.
